Bio

Welcome and thank you for visiting my website.

I began taking photographs at equestrian events in 1996 while working for a local publication. Early in my photography career, I also worked for Davis Studios taking school portraits and covering sporting events. Over the years, I have grown my horse show photography business to where I now cover approximately 75 show dates per year.

I started shooting digitally in 2005 and started my website in 2006. The combination has allowed me to turn around photo orders through my lab within a few days.

Outside of my horse show photography business, I actually work full time for Kraft Foods. I started my career working for General Foods in 1977, so I now have 30 years with the company.

Although my position there does not technically involve photography, I do periodically get requested to take photos for special projects and they have recently hung over 35 poster size photos I took of our campus which overlooks the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Personally, the other love of my life is my mini-dachshund, Laney. When I'm not at Kraft or shooting a horse show, I'm still likey to be taking photos for my own fun, often at places like Botanical Gardens.

I hope you enjoy my photos, and please feel free to use the recently added comments option.

Thank you

Richard
